Leader Engineering - Test Lab

About the role

The Leader Engineer oversees product validation and testing activities, ensuring efficient execution through data‑driven decision making and corrective actions. This position drives KPI achievement, continuous improvement, and measurable business results while leading engineering resources.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee product validation and testing activities.
• Monitor and drive department KPIs such as on‑time test initiation, completion, checklist closure, and material readiness.
• Analyze test plans, ensure readiness for qualification activities, and manage testing capacity and project priorities.
• Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and review GRS requests and tool availability.
• Partner cross‑functionally to resolve product, process, and testing‑related issues and support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
• Develop, coach, and mentor engineers and future leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years experience in manufacturing engineering, validation, testing or product development.
• 3+ years experience leading engineering teams.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong project management and continuous‑improvement background.

Required skills

• Test and validation processes (manual and performance testing).
• Data analysis using Power BI, Power Query, Minitab.
• Mechanical, electrical, electronic, and mechatronic engineering principles.
• SolidWorks and/or NX, GD&T, mechanical assemblies.
• Microsoft Office Suite and time‑and‑motion analysis.
