Lean Manufacturing Sr. Engineer

About the role

The Lean Manufacturing Sr. Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives within Chamberlain Group’s Nogales Manufacturing Operations. You will coach local teams, drive Kaizen and value‑stream mapping events, and use data analysis to uncover root causes and improve performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement activities, develop local coaches and training programs.
• Identify stakeholders and objectives for Kaizen and value‑stream mapping (VSM) events.
• Analyze data to determine root causes and key drivers of results.
• Provide process improvement training and implement lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Define guidelines and standards for manufacturing floor design and facilitate their implementation.
• Establish critical business metrics, build dashboards, scorecards and KPI measurement systems.
• Identify and drive waste‑reduction opportunities, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and stakeholder buy‑in.
• Standardize operating systems and select high‑value projects based on strategic fit, RONA and revenue growth.
• Maintain confidentiality and stay current with professional knowledge through workshops and societies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Manufacturing or Lean Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification and Green Belt Certification.
