About the role

We are seeking a Legal Compliance Officer specialized in SOFOM operations to join our team in Mexico City. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with CNBV and Condusef regulations and requires business‑level fluency in English.

Key responsibilities

Conduct legal research on CNBV and Condusef regulatory frameworks.
Draft, review, and maintain legal documents and contracts.
Liaise directly with CNBV and Condusef regulators.
Provide legal advice to fintech and SOFOM business units.
Monitor regulatory changes and implement compliance procedures.
Support internal teams with compliance queries and training.

Required profile

Professional certification accredited by CNBV or Condusef.
Proven experience handling compliance matters for SOFOM or banking institutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to provide legal advice to fintech or financial services.
Business‑level fluency in English.
Prior experience in regulatory compliance or consultancy for international business is a plus.
