Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts

About the role

Daimler Truck AG is seeking a qualified Lawyer to provide timely and accurate legal support to its Procurement, Sales, Marketing and Accounting departments in Mexico. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing and managing commercial contracts and legal‑commercial documents, ensuring low‑risk and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review legal‑commercial agreements, including specialized services and government sales contracts.
• Prepare legal assessments to support commercial activities and mitigate risk.
• Assist the Senior Legal Manager on special commercial projects and coordinate with external law firms.
• Support the management of disputes related to payment defaults, contractual breaches, or commercial conflicts.
• Participate in internal and external audits involving the Legal Department.
• Contribute to the Contract Management Process and handle day‑to‑day commercial contracts.

Required profile

• Law degree with solid knowledge of civil, commercial and contractual law.
• Familiarity with Mexican legal regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish (C1) and English (B1).
