Linux Administrator

About the role

DXC is looking for a Linux Administrator to join its infrastructure and managed services team. You will work in a managed‑services environment supporting enterprise‑grade Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) platforms that power mission‑critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Linux environments, primarily RHEL.
• Deploy patches, operating‑system updates, and security hardening.
• Perform service administration and support Linux networking tasks.
• Apply Linux security best practices to ensure secure system operations.
• Troubleshoot Linux operating‑system issues and support incident resolution.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to maintain stable and reliable services.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience administering enterprise Linux environments.
• Solid hands‑on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience deploying patches and OS updates.
• Knowledge of Linux service administration, networking, and security.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical teams.
