Linux System Administrator – Hybrid (Zapopan)

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join its Zapopan office in a hybrid working model. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS environments, ensuring high availability and performance of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot RHEL/CentOS servers, including LVM, DM‑Multipath and package management (YUM/DNF/RPM).
• Monitor system performance, diagnose hardware and software issues, and resolve incidents promptly.
• Configure and manage network services (SSH, FTP, SMTP) and perform network troubleshooting using tools such as tcpdump, ping, nmap, traceroute and netcat.
• Maintain storage solutions (SAN, NAS) and authentication services (LDAP, AD/Centrify).
• Create, maintain and debug automation scripts in Bash, Perl or Python.
• Participate in change and incident management processes within a DevOps/Agile environment.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or CentOS.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
