Linux Systems Administrator

About the role

Kyndryl is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to manage and support Linux‑based operating systems in enterprise production environments. You will ensure system availability, stability, performance, and security while meeting defined service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE Linux servers in production.
• Perform server installation, configuration, hardening, patching, and ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor system health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot performance, availability, and service issues.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within SLA targets.
• Document operational procedures and collaborate with database, middleware, cloud, and storage teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience administering Linux in enterprise or production settings.
• Growth mindset, strong sense of ownership, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, production‑critical environments and collaborate with global teams.
• Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
