Local Business Controller – Mexico & Central America

About the role

Ceva is looking for a Local Business Controller for Mexico and Central America, based in Mexico City. Reporting to the CFO and part of the Finance management team, the controller guarantees accurate and comprehensive analytical data in the ERP and timely financial reporting, while acting as a robust business partner who gives meaning to the figures, raises alerts and assesses risk levels.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and comprehensive analytical information in the ERP system, and maintain accurate master and reference data.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in line with local and Group standards, with analysis, comments and alerts for key stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of financial cycles, including budgeting, forecasting and monthly closing.
• Prepare management control reports on profitability from Sales to Operating Profit (ROP) and on the Working Capital Ratio (WCR).
• Monitor financial performance against targets, identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and support monthly Business Reviews and act as Finance Business Partner to four Business Units and one subsidiary, taking part in local management meetings.
• Lead the local budgeting process according to Ceva standards and timelines.
• Implement and monitor controls on commercial policies and expenditures, and ensure compliance with Group policies, corporate guidelines and internal controls.
• Perform inventory reconciliations between the General Ledger and warehouse subledger, and control and analyse rebates accurately.
