Logistics Associate Manager – Intermodal (Mexico City)

About the role

The Associate Manager will lead a logistics team that plans, executes, and monitors freight transportation to meet and exceed service expectations. Working closely with stakeholders in the US and Canada, you will ensure on‑time delivery, cost control, and excellent customer communication.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of team members and schedule staff to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with US/Canadian stakeholders to align on freight plans and delivery targets.
• Cover team workload when needed, dedicating up to 30% of time to production tasks.
• Monitor individual and team performance against daily goals.
• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient logistics processes.
• Generate ideas to improve process efficiency and customer experience.
• Prepare and distribute internal and customer performance reports.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Advanced English (verbal and written).
• Minimum 3 years of logistics experience (transportation management, brokerage, warehouse, supply chain) with increasing responsibility.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet objectives without supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, including root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
