Logistics Customer Service

About the role

As a Logistics Customer Service professional at MAHLE, you will be the primary liaison between the company and its automotive customers, ensuring a seamless flow of finished goods. You will coordinate demand, deliveries, and transportation while maintaining strong customer relationships and high delivery performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer demand, forecasts, schedules and delivery requirements to guarantee on‑time fulfillment.
• Manage customer portals, including schedules, scorecards, claims, debits, tickets and communications.
• Analyze demand and inventory levels to support uninterrupted supply and optimise logistics performance.
• Coordinate transportation activities to meet customer delivery windows and shipping standards.
• Process deliveries, shipping documentation, ASN requirements and customer‑specific logistics standards.
• Handle customer returns (RMAs), discrepancies, credit notes and claims in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Track logistics KPIs such as delivery performance, expedited freight, backlog, inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
• Support annual physical inventory and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, Warehousing, Quality, Traffic, Import/Export, Launch Management and Finance to ensure operational excellence.
• Participate in corporate and customer audits, compliance activities and MPS (MAHLE Production System) processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, logistics or supply chain within the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (MM, PP, SD modules).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
