Customer Service Specialist – Automotive Logistics

About the role

As a Customer Service Specialist you will act as the main point of contact for automotive customers, ensuring smooth communication, timely issue resolution, and accurate order processing. You will work closely with internal teams to meet customer‑specific shipping, packaging and documentation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proactive communication with customers and provide regular status updates.
• Follow up on customer requests, orders and critical issues until they are resolved.
• Review and analyse EDI transactions to capture demand and requirements.
• Manage customer portals, keeping information accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Monitor order fulfillment and coordinate with internal departments to meet delivery expectations.
• Track and report KPIs related to service, delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Identify risks early and escalate issues that could affect service levels.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or customer service within the automotive sector.
• Familiarity with automotive customer systems and portals (e.g., Ford, Stellantis, GM, Nissan, Toyota, Rotax).
• Understanding of shipping processes, ASN transmissions and invoicing.
• Experience using SAP Logistics modules.
• Advanced proficiency in English and willingness to work outside regular hours when needed.
• Proactive, accountable and strong team player.
