Logistics Planning Manager

About the role

The Logistics Planning Manager will lead Customer and Procurement Planning operations for Bosch Group across North America, ensuring alignment of demand, supply, and inventory. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to maintain high service levels and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Customer & Procurement Planning team to support pass‑through business and procurement planning for OE customers.
• Manage daily planning activities, balancing customer demand, supplier capacity, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate escalation actions with suppliers and customers to mitigate supply‑chain risks.
• Maintain accurate customer and supplier master data related to orders and inventory.
• Oversee warehouse inventory and ensure outbound shipments meet agreed transportation schedules.
• Facilitate cross‑functional communication among customers, warehouses, supplying plants, and business units.
• Drive service‑level performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support business growth by aligning logistics planning services with global regions.
• Lead or support ad‑hoc business requests, special projects, and strategic initiatives.
• Define annual objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and manage talent development activities.
• Lead improvement projects using CIP methodologies and ensure compliance with Bosch directives.
• Oversee key reporting activities, including Monthly Business Reports, Current Forecast, and Target Business Plan, ensuring data accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain planning, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a planning team.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with a focus on data accuracy.
• Experience managing supplier and customer relationships and handling escalations.
• Familiarity with continuous‑improvement methodologies such as CIP.
• Understanding of compliance requirements and ability to implement standard work procedures.
