Maintenance Planner

About the role

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, is looking for a Maintenance Planner. The role oversees the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities so that equipment and facilities run efficiently, while collaborating with teams to optimise maintenance processes, improve productivity and comply with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the maintenance schedule for all equipment and facility systems.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians to prioritise work orders and manage the backlog.
• Analyse equipment failures and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Use the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track, schedule and report maintenance activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation on maintenance procedures and compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for parts procurement and service scheduling.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance planning or related roles.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, and ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and CMMS tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
