Maintenance Technician – Building Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the building remains in excellent operational condition by following preventive maintenance plans and performing a variety of repairs and installations. The role combines hands‑on technical work with basic cleaning and landscaping tasks to keep the facility safe and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs as directed by the Facilities Lead.
• Provide prompt service to internal customers and support the maintenance team.
• Assist with exterior cleaning, parking‑lot upkeep, sidewalk maintenance, and basic gardening.
• Perform simple electrical and plumbing installations, replace motors and electrical components, and conduct welding repairs.
• Build and install new metal furniture as needed.

Required profile

• Some high‑school education, preferably with a focus on mechanical studies.
• 2–3 years of experience in equipment repair, building maintenance, and basic gardening.
• Familiarity with HVAC system basics, safety and security procedures, and general electrical work.
