Maintenance Technician

About the role

Valeo is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its production team. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, safety and environmental compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance resources to minimise MTTR and maximise MTBF and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Prepare and control the maintenance budget, including labour, overheads and spare‑parts inventory.
• Lead maintenance QRQC, safety QRQC and TPM activities, and drive productivity actions such as P‑30.
• Ensure technical documentation, work instructions and equipment FMEA are up to date.
• Participate in new equipment industrialisation, start‑up, and continuous‑improvement projects (Kaizen, PDCA, FTA, 5 Why).
• Assess environmental impact of equipment and incorporate safety and sustainability requirements into design.

Required profile

• Experience in industrial maintenance within an automotive or high‑tech environment.
• Ability to work in a safety‑focused culture and follow local and group regulations.
• Strong analytical mindset for root‑cause analysis and budget management.
• Proactive attitude towards skill transfer, turnover reduction and resource allocation.
