Manager, Clinical Project Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager, Clinical Project Management to support its Clinical R&D team in Mexico City. The role combines strategic planning, resource coordination, and process improvement to drive clinical research initiatives that align with the company’s vision of advancing eye care.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop project plans, budgets, and timelines for complex clinical studies.
• Lead clinical FTE resourcing and manage direct spend processes for study activities.
• Track and monitor clinical processes, producing visual reports and maintaining performance metrics.
• Co‑lead vendor evaluations, audits, and the creation of clinical work instructions, job aids, and training administration.
• Facilitate organizational process‑review meetings and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Apply risk‑management strategies, escalating or mitigating issues as needed.
• Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders using appropriate tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Advanced level of English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research and development, preferably in an operations or project‑management capacity.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
