Manager Indirect Tax Technology

About the role

Mattel is seeking a Manager to lead the next phase of its Finance Transformation, focusing on indirect tax systems and processes. The role works closely with finance, tax, IT, and implementation partners to deliver scalable, secure, and flexible solutions across a global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and manage indirect tax systems, including Tax One and Oracle Fusion Cloud, with a strong emphasis on VAT.
• Collaborate with accounting, tax, shared services, and IT teams to improve compliance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Drive integration of VAT and indirect tax solutions into broader Finance Transformation initiatives.
• Produce and present executive‑level updates on tax and finance transformation projects.
• Coordinate regional and global test cycles, ensuring alignment of resources, locations, and timelines.
• Influence system and process design decisions shaping the future of Finance and Tax at Mattel.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in finance and tax, with a strong focus on indirect tax and VAT.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executive audiences.
• Experience in finance transformation initiatives is a strong plus.
