Manager, Product Management - AI

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Manager, Product Management – AI to lead the strategy, development and commercialization of AI‑powered solutions for its SME payments platform. The role will own end‑to‑end product ownership of large‑language‑model (LLM) and agentic AI experiences, turning complex data and partner ecosystems into scalable customer‑centric services.

Key responsibilities

• Define vision and roadmap for AI products, aligning with business objectives and user needs.
• Own delivery of LLM‑powered conversational interfaces, autonomous workflows and decision‑support systems.
• Translate product strategy into EPICs, features and specifications for engineering, design and data teams.
• Lead cross‑functional teams through development, ensuring quality, budget, scope and timeline compliance.
• Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to position products effectively.
• Communicate product plans and outcomes to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Product Manager in a technology‑driven environment, preferably with AI product exposure.
• Proven ability to develop product strategies and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or related field is highly desirable.
