Managing Director – Mexico, Colombia & Caribbean

About the role

Siemens Energy is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Mexico country organization with extended responsibility for Colombia and Caribbean markets. Reporting to the Latin America regional hub, the role ensures business continuity, strategic growth, and operational excellence across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term strategic plans for Mexico, Colombia and the Caribbean, aligning with regional and global objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, market growth initiatives, and diversification strategies to increase market share and profitability.
• Oversee all in‑country operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and compliance with corporate policies and legal standards.
• Allocate resources—including capital, assets, and personnel—to maximize performance and achieve business goals.
• Report performance metrics and strategic progress to regional and global executive leadership.
• Champion corporate governance, ethics, and compliance throughout the organization.
• Drive talent management, succession planning, and foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
• Represent Siemens Energy with key external stakeholders, including customers, government bodies, and industry associations.

Required profile

• Extensive senior management experience, preferably within the energy sector.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and business development.
• Deep understanding of the Mexican, Colombian and Caribbean markets.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
