Manufacturing Design Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Design Engineer will lead the design of new production lines, including machines, tooling, layout, and material handling. You will work closely with the Industrial Engineering discipline to ensure project objectives for time, budget, and functionality are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design of new production lines, covering machines, tooling, layout, and material handling.
• Provide specific input and output for the design process from the Industrial Engineering perspective.
• Support the project team in achieving targets related to schedule, budget, and functional performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related field.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry in a related function.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, sourcing processes, DFM, CSR, APQP, industrialization, standardization, manufacturing and maintenance concepts, and layout & process flow.
