Manufacturing Operations Manager – Hands-On Production Leadership

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead production activities at a leading automotive manufacturing plant in Nuevo León. The role combines hands‑on production leadership with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day manufacturing operations and ensure target OEE and productivity levels.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and execute production planning and scheduling to meet demand.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor and develop production teams, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• Experience in the automotive sector, preferably Tier 1.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles, ERP/MRP systems, and KPI management.
