Market Application Engineer – Automotive Aftermarket (Mexico City)

About the role

The Automotive Aftermarket Market Application Engineer will join 3M's Automotive Aftermarket Division in Mexico City. You will work closely with global 3M teams to demonstrate products, train customers and sales staff, and support new product introductions and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on product demonstrations and training for internal and external audiences.
• Support new product introductions, field trials, and product testing.
• Partner with the sales team to drive growth across key markets and product lines.
• Lead training and implementation of 3M materials in body‑shop and industrial environments.
• Assist body shops in applying 3M Standard Operating Procedures to improve productivity.
• Provide technical support for customer‑inspired innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, engineering, business, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial markets such as collision repair, paint, manufacturing, OEM, or insurance.
• Experience in application engineering, technical service, technical training, or technical sales.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
