Materials Manager – Just‑In‑Time (JIT) Operations

About the role

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Materials Manager to lead a JIT planning team. You will ensure material availability, supplier readiness, and successful execution of production and new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of planning and supply‑chain professionals.
• Develop and execute JIT planning strategies aligned with production and inventory goals.
• Monitor supplier performance, mitigate risks, and manage escalations.
• Coordinate long‑lead‑time materials, tooling, and capacity planning for launches.
• Drive continuous improvement of JIT processes, systems, and workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in supply‑chain, materials planning or manufacturing operations.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
