Mathematics Expert – AI Training (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Mathematics Expert with a Master’s or PhD to help train cutting‑edge AI models in advanced mathematical reasoning. This fully remote, flexible contract position lets you work on your own schedule while shaping AI that will be used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, solve, and review complex mathematical problems spanning algebra, calculus, statistics, and discrete mathematics.
• Design problem statements that challenge and improve AI reasoning capabilities.
• Evaluate AI‑generated solutions for correctness, clarity, and logical soundness.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts across multiple projects.
• Ensure mathematical precision and depth in all deliverables while working independently.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the following: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics.
• Strong written communication skills in English.
• Based in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Python for mathematical scripting.
• Experience using MATLAB or Mathematica for research and problem solving.
