Mechatronic Commissioning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechatronic Commissioning Engineer to provide on‑site solutions for our clients, primarily in the United States. The role involves close collaboration with customers and engineering teams to resolve issues and ensure successful system start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Test and bring mechatronic systems into operational state at customer sites.
• Document job activities and compile detailed technical reports.
• Attend daily planning and safety meetings, track safety issues, and follow up with managers.
• Share knowledge and best practices with engineering peers.

Required profile

• BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or an advanced degree.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience in mechatronics or related field.
• Ability to work independently and within small or large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, primarily to the USA.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
• Knowledge of AC drives (open and closed loop).
• Familiarity with Ethernet/IP network design and machine safety (a plus).
