Mechatronic Commissioning Senior Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mechatronic Commissioning Senior Engineer to provide solutions at client sites, working closely with customers and engineering teams. The role involves extensive travel across the USA to support on‑site commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Test and bring systems into operational state following prescribed guidelines.
• Document job activities and compile detailed technical reports.
• Attend daily planning and safety meetings, reporting and tracking safety issues.
• Share knowledge and best practices with engineering peers.
• Maintain administrative responsibilities while supporting multiple projects.

Required profile

• BS/BA in electrical engineering or an advanced degree.
• 6‑8 years of successful experience in a related field.
• Ability to work individually and in small or large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
• Knowledge of AC drives (open & closed loop).
• Familiarity with Ethernet IP network design.
• Understanding of machine safety concepts.
