Medical Science Liaison – Oncology (Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Oncology will act as a scientific bridge between Ipsen and the medical community in Mexico. The role focuses on communicating medical and educational objectives for assigned oncology products while supporting the company’s national strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Ipsen SOPs, policies, directives and relevant national guidelines.
• Execute the communication plan to achieve medical and educational objectives for oncology products.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Key Decision Makers and Key Influencer Physicians.
• Facilitate scientific, educational and research activities related to current and pipeline therapies.
• Maintain, update and disseminate scientific knowledge and manage the medical profiling database of HCPs and KOLs.
• Provide timely information to KOLs and HCPs on Ipsen’s disease areas and support involvement in clinical research studies.

Required profile

• Biomedical or scientific university degree; postgraduate education (MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD) preferred.
• Previous experience in oncology, either in clinical practice, hospital‑related research, university research, pharmaceutical industry research or medical affairs.
• Proven track record as an MSL or in a medical affairs role.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Willingness to be based in Mexico City, Guadalajara or Monterrey.
