Medical Virtual Assistant (Remote – LATAM)

About the role

We are hiring Medical Virtual Assistants in Latin America to support U.S.-based healthcare providers. This role is ideal for candidates with medical, clinical, or healthcare administrative experience who want long‑term, stable remote work with U.S. clients. You will work directly with healthcare professionals and administrative teams to support daily medical operations while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendars
• Communicate with patients via phone, email, and patient portals
• Update and maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with authorizations
• Support billing, claims follow‑up, and documentation
• Prepare intake forms, medical reports, and correspondence
• Coordinate between providers, staff, and patients
• Follow HIPAA and U.S. healthcare compliance standards

Required profile

• Healthcare background (Medical Assistant, Medical Admin, Nurse Assistant, Medical VA, or similar)
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Strong medical terminology knowledge
• Advanced English (written & spoken)
• High attention to detail and confidentiality
• Reliable high‑speed internet and quiet workspace
