About the role

The Occupational Health Physician will lead preventive health programs and ensure the well‑being of employees at HARMAN Automotive. This role combines medical expertise with occupational safety to support the company’s EHSS performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct admission, periodic, emergency, prenatal and other medical examinations for staff.
• Perform health‑monitoring tests (vision, audiometry, spirometry, drug screening, ergonomics) for workers exposed to hazardous conditions.
• Maintain injury records, complete accident reports for Mexican Social Security and Labor Department, and support incident investigations.
• Verify cafeteria hygiene, control medicine inventory, and generate regular health reports.
• Assess environmental conditions, identify risks, and collaborate on preventive measures.
• Participate in motivational, cultural and recreational activities and support quality and EHSS system management.
• Assist with compliance to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and Mexican industrial safety regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree (required).
• 2‑3 years of experience in occupational health or related field.
• Knowledge of government obligations on health, occupational safety and health.
• Understanding of health and safety commissions and Mexican normative requirements.
• Proficiency in English (minimum 70%).

Required skills

• ISO 45001 internal auditing.
• ISO 14001 internal auditing.
• Experience with IATF 16949 standards.
• First aid certification.
