Médico General – Atención médica ocupacional

About the role

Hunter Douglas seeks a qualified General Physician to provide primary medical care to employees across its four Mexican manufacturing sites. The role focuses on promoting health, preventing occupational illnesses, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to general medical consultations for employees during work hours.
• Conduct pre‑employment, periodic, and exit medical examinations in accordance with current regulations.
• Monitor and record occupational diseases and workplace accidents.
• Coordinate health campaigns, vaccinations, and wellness promotion activities on the plant floor.
• Prepare monthly medical reports, statistical summaries, and documentation for IMSS or other institutions.
• Collaborate with the safety and hygiene department to prevent occupational risks.
• Participate in internal health and safety committees.
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of the medical office and first‑aid kits.
• Provide training on occupational health topics such as ergonomics and stress management.
• Manage and control workers’ medical records.

Required profile

• General Physician degree with a valid professional license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within industry or occupational health.
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards (NOM‑STPS), occupational medicine, and first aid.
• Familiarity with digital medical record systems (preferred).
• Diploma or specialization in Occupational Health (preferred).
