Member Events Coordinator

About the role

The Member Events Coordinator supports the Member Events Manager in planning and executing cultural and community‑focused events for Soho House members in Mexico City. You will ensure every detail—from venue selection to post‑event feedback—is handled smoothly, creating memorable experiences for our members.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with internal and external event communications and prepare event materials such as floor plans, custom menus, and run‑of‑shows.
• Upload events to digital platforms, manage inquiries, and confirm attendee lists.
• Collect and organise partner assets (photos, bios, event information) and maintain contracts, receipts, and contact records.
• Attend events on‑site, oversee execution, and gather member feedback for continuous improvement.
• Conceptualise and book unconventional talent (DJs, bands, artists) and propose innovative formats, including digital experiences.
• Support the creation of themed installations for major celebrations (e.g., Halloween, New Year’s Eve).
• Facilitate member‑to‑member connections and enable member‑hosted events.
• Develop tracking systems for bookings, deadlines, and budgets, collaborating with General Managers to meet business goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of professional experience in cultural or hospitality event coordination.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communicator with a keen awareness of current trends in music, talent and technology.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can work evenings and weekends as event needs dictate.
