Network Security Specialist

About the role

NTT DATA Mexico is looking for an experienced Network Security Specialist to join its Guanajuato office. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures while providing expert troubleshooting and customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage firewalls, content filtering solutions, and IDS/IPS platforms.
• Perform advanced network troubleshooting and resolve security incidents.
• Integrate security devices with authentication systems such as LDAP, IWA, SSO, and Active Directory.
• Maintain documentation and follow ITIL best‑practice processes.
• Collaborate with the Network Security team to optimize operations and improve security posture.

Required profile

• 8+ years of network troubleshooting experience.
• 8+ years of network security administration and design experience.
• Proven knowledge of at least three security product families (firewalls, content filters, IDS/IPS).
• Strong working knowledge of Cisco Firepower ASA and FTD.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer‑facing communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
