Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

Newell Brands is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to support employee wellbeing and safety at its Acuña facility. You will work closely with the Occupational Physician to deliver primary care, manage health documentation, and promote wellness initiatives across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Physician in providing medical care and support to employees.
• Process and manage employee medical leave documentation and records.
• Provide first‑aid, wound care, and primary healthcare services on site.
• Support hiring processes, including drug screenings and medical evaluations.
• Administer oral and intramuscular medications and maintain medication inventories.
• Monitor vulnerable employees, such as pregnant staff and those with chronic conditions.
• Maintain organized employee medical records and clinical files.
• Deliver health awareness initiatives and wellness campaigns.
• Participate in cafeteria and sanitation audits related to employee health.
• Support safety‑related activities, including work‑at‑height permit processes.

Required profile

• Technical Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Industrial or Occupational Health Nurse.
• Knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and primary healthcare.
• Experience managing medical records and employee leave documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
