Offshore Doctor – Jack-up Rig

About the role

RMI Global is looking for an Offshore Doctor to join a long‑term project on a jack‑up rig in Mexico. The role is essential for delivering medical and pastoral care to crew members while fostering a strong safety culture onboard.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical support for crew members, handling both minor and major injuries.
• Collaborate with RMI Topside and Med Control Doctors for medical consultations.
• Implement conservative treatment techniques to reduce workplace injuries and shore‑side evacuations.
• Act as a visible role model for safe behaviour, participating in crew briefings and hygiene inspections.

Required profile

• Mexican national with a valid Mexico Medical License.
• Rig Pass (issued within the last 5 years).
• BOSIET, CA‑EBS, ACLS and OGUK (or equivalent) medical certifications.
• Seaman’s Book (Mexican issued) and a current Medical Certificate.
• Valid drug test (1‑year) and PPE/Safety training as per PEMEX ANNEX SSPA.

• Daily rate of USD 300‑350.
• 12‑month fixed‑term contract with potential extension.
• 28 days on‑site, 28 days off rotation.
