Operational Excellence Manager – Site Transformation Leader

About the role

We are seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to lead the Site Transformation Program for a multi‑billion‑dollar global manufacturer. Reporting to the executive site leadership team, you will combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution to embed Lean principles across production and supply‑chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the development, maturity assessment, and execution of the site transformation blueprint in partnership with regional and global business‑excellence teams.
• Coach and mentor Lean Site Champions, design and deliver specialized Lean training modules, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), maintaining a pipeline of high‑impact projects through Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Daily Management systems.
• Collaborate with Product Transfer, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Engineering to embed Lean and automation from the design stage.
• Drive standard‑work programs and work with key suppliers to implement Lean practices that improve cost, quality, and delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of business/operational experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success implementing and sustaining Lean/OPEX frameworks at multiple organizational levels.
• Experience in high‑regulation manufacturing, preferably medical‑device, with knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA, and GMP.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related science; MBA or Master’s in Lean Operations preferred.
