Operations Manager

About the role

Aptiv is seeking an Operations Manager to lead production teams, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and drive continuous improvement across its automotive manufacturing site. You will be responsible for delivering cost‑effective, high‑quality production while supporting new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop production teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Ensure efficient, cost‑effective production processes that meet quality, quantity and timeline requirements.
• Monitor production KPIs, resource planning and departmental budgets.
• Drive process optimization using Lean, CIP and PDCA methodologies.
• Plan and execute new launch activities, including training and ramp‑up.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, HR and Supply Chain to shape operational strategy.
• Make operational decisions on staffing, overtime and temporary support in line with policies.
• Safeguard sensitive data and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
• Experience in plastic molding and automatic assembly environments.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and automotive production.
• Fluent English and proficient in MS Office.
• Proven leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Understanding of KPIs, financial metrics and P&L responsibility.
