Payroll Tax Manager – LATAM Remote

About the role

Insight Global is looking for a Payroll Tax Manager to lead the LATAM payroll tax and statutory compliance function for a large HCM client. This fully remote position will guide a team of senior compliance professionals while driving AI‑enabled automation and product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor payroll tax, statutory and regulatory changes across LATAM and assess impact on payroll products.
• Translate legislative updates into clear, actionable requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
• Act as the primary liaison between Compliance and Product, ensuring timely implementation of changes.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives, leveraging AI and automation to reduce manual effort.
• Provide day‑to‑day team support, including coverage, onboarding and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• 5+ years of experience in payroll tax, statutory compliance or related HCM/payroll environments.
• Proven leadership managing senior subject‑matter experts.
• Strong experience collaborating with Product or Technology teams.
• Comfortable in a fast‑changing, software‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of payroll tax and statutory compliance in LATAM.
• Experience with AI‑driven compliance and automation tools.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in HR technology.
