About the role

The Pharmacovigilance Specialist (PV Lead) will oversee safety monitoring of pharmaceutical products in Mexico, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting ICON's mission to advance clinical development.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, review, and analyze adverse event reports to guarantee timely and accurate regulatory reporting.
• Conduct risk assessments and signal detection activities to identify potential safety concerns.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address safety‑related inquiries and investigations.
• Prepare and submit safety reports and regulatory submissions within required timelines.
• Stay up‑to‑date with pharmacovigilance regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a related field, preferably in a clinical or pharmaceutical setting.
• Proven experience as a PV lead with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Commitment to high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
