PHP / Laravel Developer (Hybrid) – Guadalajara/Mexico City

About the role

We are seeking a skilled PHP / Laravel Developer to join our team in a hybrid capacity, working from Guadalajara or Mexico City. The role involves building, maintaining, and enhancing scalable web applications for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Optimize MySQL databases, queries, and indexing for performance.
• Implement Laravel queues, jobs, caching, events, and task scheduling.
• Integrate payment gateways and other external APIs.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams using Vue.js or React.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and deployment automation.
• Write unit tests with PHPUnit and ensure code quality.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience with Core PHP and Laravel.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
• Proven experience in MySQL query optimization and indexing.
• Hands‑on experience with REST API design and integration.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, Sanctum or Passport.
• Experience working with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
