Plant Controller – Automotive (Querétaro)

About the role

Sika is seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to lead financial management at its automotive plant in Querétaro, Mexico. The role provides financial leadership, ensures compliance with internal controls, and drives cost efficiency, profitability, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, P&L, efficiency reports, and cost per kilogram.
• Conduct variance analysis between standard and actual costs and implement cost‑control measures.
• Manage inventory accounting, production cost tracking, and month‑end closing processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and supply‑chain teams to identify profitability improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in plant finance and cost accounting.
• Proven track record in cost analysis, financial reporting and month‑end closing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
