Plant Controller - Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

The Plant Controller will act as the finance business partner for the Guadalajara electronics manufacturing site, supporting operations, supply chain, engineering and senior management. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration, the role is central to driving financial performance and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering and Management to provide financial insights.
• Analyze manufacturing performance, product profitability and cost variances, recommending improvements.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial analysis processes.
• Monitor inventory valuation, standard costs and manufacturing variances.
• Perform detailed product costing, COGS and margin analysis.
• Support pricing decisions and commercial profitability assessments.
• Coordinate monthly IFRS reporting packages and financial closing activities.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to optimise manufacturing costs and efficiency.
• Assist with investment analysis, CAPEX evaluation and business case development.
• Prepare management reports and KPIs for strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Plant, Cost or Industrial Controller in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation and standard costing.
• Fluent English.

• SAP FI/CO (preferred ERP system)
• ERP systems experience
