Plant Controller

About the role
The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a manufacturing plant. This role ensures accurate budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis to support strategic business decisions and drive profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Manage plant budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to management.
- Partner with operations teams to improve cost efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
- Support month‑end closing and related reporting activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CA/CMA preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing finance.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and plant operations.
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
