Plant Controller

About the role

The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a manufacturing plant. This role ensures accurate budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis to support strategic business decisions and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage plant budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to management.
• Partner with operations teams to improve cost efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
• Support month‑end closing and related reporting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CA/CMA preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing finance.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and plant operations.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
