Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager will define and drive the short‑, medium‑ and long‑term strategy for a manufacturing plant, focusing on modernization, innovation and design while ensuring the highest quality standards and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong cross‑functional relationships with EHS, Sales, Development, Distribution, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Marketing, Group plants and Corporate to sustain efficient plant operations.
• Align plant activities with commercial needs of business units such as ARQ, PMC, PKG, Refinish and OEM, supporting the overall sales strategy.
• Guarantee daily supply of finished products to meet market demand across all product lines in Mexico, LATAM and the U.S.
• Lead actions that ensure Environment, Health and Safety compliance and promote a culture of operational excellence based on PPG principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• English proficiency of at least 80%.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Information Standards and Budget Control.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence.
• Effective personnel management and team development.
• Business acumen in Finance, Process Engineering and Investment Project Management.
