P&O Director - Digital Capabilities Development

About the role

Mars, Incorporated is seeking a senior People & Organization leader to shape the future of work by designing and delivering a global digital capability program. The role will equip every associate with essential digital, AI and automation skills needed to thrive in an increasingly intelligent environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and lead a worldwide digital capability program covering AI, automation and intelligent agents.
• Define core skills, competencies and behavioral shifts for associates at all levels.
• Establish an outcome‑driven framework linked to measurable business KPIs such as efficiency gains, innovation speed and sales growth.
• Develop a robust measurement strategy to track skill acquisition and ROI, reporting regularly to senior leadership.
• Activate and nurture a global network of “Digital Champions” and subject‑matter experts to scale the intervention.
• Partner closely with Digital Technology leaders, the AI Center of Excellence, P&O business partners and Mars University to integrate the program across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and deploying large‑scale capability or learning programs.
• Passion for driving change and connecting learning directly to business outcomes.
• Ability to work in a lean, agile team and influence a global community.
• Strong partnership skills with technology, HR and learning functions.
