Preschool Technical Director (Directora Técnica Preescolar)

About the role

The Preschool Technical Director is responsible for ensuring that all academic, administrative and regulatory processes of the early‑childhood program comply with Mexico's SEP (Secretaría de Educación Pública) standards. This senior position leads curriculum implementation, teacher supervision, and documentation readiness while supporting the institution’s educational quality and child‑protection policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full compliance with SEP regulations, official curricula, and RVOE requirements.
• Prepare and manage all required documentation for inspections, audits and official visits.
• Supervise lesson planning, classroom practices, assessment processes and student progress monitoring.
• Guide and coach teaching staff to ensure accurate academic records and curriculum fidelity.
• Guarantee audit‑ready academic and administrative records, establishing internal controls for traceability.
• Support the development of the academic calendar, attendance tracking and reporting obligations.
• Communicate with parents on academic and regulatory matters and represent the preschool in institutional meetings.
• Promote safeguarding, health, safety and child‑protection standards throughout the preschool.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of SEP regulations and preschool educational frameworks.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Proven leadership and team‑supervision experience.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with teachers, parents and authorities.
