Pricing Analyst

About the role

The Pricing Analyst will support Passport’s commercial and network strategy through hands‑on cost analysis, pricing support, and routing execution. This role owns the day‑to‑day routing workflow, translating approved network decisions into routing rules and monitoring results.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze shipment and routing performance by country, carrier, service, zone, weight, cost, transit time, and surcharges.
• Validate carrier/vendor rate cards, identify cost changes, and compare routing options to quantify impacts.
• Update pricing models and support pricing requests using Passport’s Rates Management System.
• Own routing implementation by converting network decisions into routing rules, rate tables, and system‑ready files; test outputs and resolve gaps before launch.
• Monitor routing results, investigate unexpected cost or service outcomes, and recommend corrections.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex shipment, cost, and pricing data.
• Understanding of carrier cost structures, rate cards, service options, and routing impacts.
• Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve analysis and workflows.
• High accuracy in routing rules, rate tables, and pricing outputs.
• Ability to work independently, manage sensitive pricing data, and collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for modeling and data manipulation.
• SQL experience preferred for handling large datasets.
