Process & NPI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Process & NPI Engineer to join our global ophthalmic device company. The role will support the introduction of new products and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes across our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional actions to ensure timely execution of assigned projects.
• Implement new processes, production improvements and validate, test, and release manufacturing methods.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical and process documentation.
• Identify risks, escalate issues and propose corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain and Operations teams.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing or the medical device industry.
• Strong technical capability with the ability to influence and coordinate multiple teams.
• Proactive, organized and able to work autonomously under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Required skills

• Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation.
• Documentation management and change control.
• IQ/OQ/PQ validation procedures.
• Line balancing, process capability (CPK) analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Data analysis and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Manufacturing, assembly and process automation knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytical tools.
