Procurement Manager

About the role

Littelfuse is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for its ICP plant in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will drive supplier performance, support cost‑reduction initiatives, and ensure the supply base meets the company’s quality and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier performance in cost, quality, and delivery.
• Conduct regular business reviews and lead supplier development projects.
• Develop and execute annual cost‑reduction plans through negotiations, VAVE projects, and second‑source implementation.
• Partner with Engineering to support new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Category Management to meet production and sourcing needs.
• Consolidate and rationalize the supplier base to improve overall performance.
• Monitor and report procurement KPIs such as material cost savings, on‑time delivery, PPV, and supplier quality.
• Maintain supplier pricing and approved source lists in SAP.
• Support supply‑chain risk‑mitigation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably with strong category‑management responsibilities.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or with manufactured products.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
