Product Coordinator

About the role

The Product Coordinator is responsible for all manufacturing engineering activities related to assigned products. You will lead the coordination of product start‑ups, change management, and line launches across Plant, Development, Sales, and the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new product and line launches with cross‑functional teams using Project Management and APQP methods.
• Manage capacity planning, line flexibility, and MAE approval requests (investment calculations, TEK capacity analysis, BPS requirements).
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements (Quality Gates, PFMEA, Control Plan, Safe Launch, Type Approval) and Bosch Production System standards (DFMEA, LLD, VSM/VSD, Flow Oriented Layout).
• Organise trial runs, internal/external audits, and product cancellation processes.
• Lead Engineering Changes (ECR) and Process Changes (PCR) to keep product and process versions up‑to‑date.
• Drive cost‑reduction activities (RPP), track savings, and support procurement of alternative materials.
• Facilitate workshops, lessons learned, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs during ramp‑up and stabilization phases, managing assets activation and retirement.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing engineering and product launch coordination.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Development, Plant, Business Unit, Quality, Logistics).
• Strong project management skills, familiar with APQP and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of quality systems, including PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, and Bosch Production System tools.
